Connect Claude, the AI assistant made by Anthropic, to one trip and ask it about the plan: what a day looks like, what to fit in between two places, what to do if it rains. Claude can add, move and remove stops, and propose whole day plans for you to accept.
It is optional and off until you turn it on for a trip. You need a Claude account; Camipack still needs none. Set Claude up once on claude.ai or in Claude Desktop — after that it works in the Claude phone app too.
In Camipack, open the trip and tap Share, then Claude.
Read what Claude will see, choose whether to include extras such as traveller names or the budget, and agree. Camipack shows an 8-character code. It works once, for 10 minutes.
On claude.ai or in Claude Desktop, go to Customize → Connectors, click + Add, then Add custom connector.
Name it Camipack and enter the server URL https://ai.camipack.com/mcp. Click Continue, keep the sign-in settings Claude detects, and click Add.
Sign in when Claude asks. Camipack’s sign-in page opens: type the code from your iPhone and confirm.
Start a new chat. Under + → Connectors, check Camipack is switched on, then ask — for example “What does day 2 look like?” or “Add a coffee stop after the museum on Tuesday.”
Only the trips you share with it, and only a summary: dates, destinations, places, times, areas and opening hours, how you travel, where you stay, document titles, the children’s age bands, and your pace and interests. Notes are sent with names, phone numbers, emails, links and codes taken out. Traveller names, street addresses, day notes, budget and packing go only if you switch them on. Map coordinates, booking codes, files and attachments are never sent. The details are in the privacy policy.
When Claude adds, moves or removes a stop, the change appears in Camipack straight away, marked as updated by Claude, and you can tap Undo. When Claude proposes a plan for a whole day, it waits in Camipack as a draft: nothing changes until you accept it, and you can skip it.
Claude can be wrong. Check times, prices and opening hours before you rely on them.
When Claude changes a trip, your iPhone gets a notification such as “Claude changed 3 stops on Lisbon”. If none arrive, check that notifications are allowed for Camipack in iOS Settings.
To stop sharing one trip, open it → Share → Claude and switch it off. To disconnect Claude completely, go to Settings → AI Assistants → Disconnect. Delete everything on Camipack’s server, on the same screen, removes all the data Camipack keeps for assistants at once. You can also remove the connector in Claude under Customize → Connectors.
Expired codes, Camipack missing in Claude, changes not showing: see AI assistants on the Support page.
