Privacy Policy

The short version: Camipack collects nothing. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads. We couldn't look at your data even if we wanted to — there is nowhere for it to go but your own devices and your own iCloud.

What data Camipack handles, and where it lives

Your trips — plans, places, routes, packing lists, expenses, and attached documents — are stored on your iPhone. If you are signed in to iCloud, they also sync to your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit), which belongs to your Apple account, not to us. When you share a trip with a family member, that trip syncs through iCloud's shared database between the people you invited — and no one else.

The developer has no access to any of it. There is no Camipack server, and the app never transmits your data to us or to any third party.

What Camipack does not do

No account or sign-up — the app never asks who you are.
No analytics, telemetry, tracking, or advertising SDKs of any kind.
No selling, sharing, or processing of personal data — we never possess it.

Network connections the app makes

Camipack talks to exactly three kinds of services, all as an anonymous client:

Apple iCloud — to sync your trips between your devices and with invited family members, under Apple's privacy policy.
Apple Maps — for map display, place search, and route directions, like any iOS maps app.
Protomaps CDN — only when you tap "Download Offline Map": the app fetches OpenStreetMap-based map tiles for your trip's area. Like any download, the server sees your IP address; no identifier, account, or trip content is sent with it.

Permissions

Camipack asks for permissions only when you use the matching feature, and uses them only on the device: Calendar (to add your trip's events when you ask), Camera / Photos / Files (to attach documents you choose to a trip). Denying a permission only disables that one feature.

Deleting your data

Delete a trip in the app and it is deleted from your device and from your iCloud sync. Delete the app to remove everything local. You can also remove Camipack's iCloud data at any time in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Children

Camipack collects no data from anyone, children included. The app has no chat, no social features, and no user-generated content that leaves your family's iCloud share.
